Thanks Bill. I do like hole that let you choose how much water you want to throw over. Sounds like a 6-7 hole would be pretty cool and very tough. Hole 6 is pretty good now as well, with OB in front and behind.

Was the property line the OB line on holes 7 & 8 right now? Not very distinguished right now, but we could make it work. Not that important until you are playing for money. I think we'll play across the barbed wire as safe for now.

I think we should make the course so tough that noone from Derby will want to play it.

The fence line to the left of hole 7 & 8 was never intended to be OB. It could be if that is what everyone wanted but there is penalty enough if you get over there.

I was talking with a couple that lived nearby when I was down there last week and they just laughed at me when i told them the answer to one of the questions...."Whats the par on this course"?....Everything is par 3.....

but not with a smile....it was kinda like your joking right. Then they went back home kinda disgusted.

Current hole 3 would be a pro par 3.5. Hole 9 is a pro par 4. Holes 2, 5, 7, & 8 average a little over 3. Holes 1, 4, & 6 average a little under. I'd call it pro par 29. rec par 38.

Derby will be an 18 hole course after enough trees are removed for the rest of the course. It is supposed to go to 11 holes soon.
