Im sure most of you know what the ace race is, those of you that dont and have questions can pm me.

I can't wait to play in this event. I always wanted to set up some temp holes in N. Riverside Park.

You got enough buckets, Chad? I have an InStep single chainer I could bring. You could use it for an especially short hole and see how many people chain out!

All players packs are spoken for. I should have ordered more

Got the course laid out last night, its a pretty fun course to play. In the words of Boober Scoober "this course will make this disc do everything its supposed too"

After the race we're gonna play doubles on this shorty course. You will have to drive with your ace racer but you can putt with your putter. We kicked around the idea of 9 holes best shot 9 holes worst shot but we'll see what the consensus is. Should be interesting.......

A BIG OLe pot O Chili will be served for a lil snack.

If anyone can find someone with a pack that'll sell one of there protos to you for $10, you could still get in to this event... at half price!

I dont see any problem with that.

Its hard to run an event like this when you dont know how many people will show up. In past Ace Races I have always told people to rsvp me so they make certain they will get to play.

23 showed up to play in the ace race despite the drizzle, cold, and strong wind. We had some good chili to keep us warm.

This was a cool course for an ace race! It was over by holes 8 and 9 at Oak park.

Most found the disc really flippy, but it really was a pretty good disc for running aces because it flew perfectly straight on the line of release and took very little power to glide a long way.

Nobody aced. The 2 that his metal were Bo and this dude that threw like he was throwing ninja stars. Both are new players. Bo won the play off.

We played doubles afterwards with the ace race disc for the only driver. 9 holes best shot, 9 worst shot (this was killer for some of us, but a very unique experience), and 9 holes best score. Lenny and Scooba shot -16!

63 holes in some brutal weather turned out to be a lot of fun! I want to thank Chad for organizing and running this event. I think it was well worth all of you effort. Thanks!

Thanks Mikey!!!

Also big thanks to Ben Maass, Two-Away, and Ron Handsaker for the baskets.

Thanks goes out to The Captain and Scooba for the great chili feed. If anyone got sick you can blame that on the The Captian for putting a little bit of eveything in the chili including maple syrup and black eyed peas and possibly some vanilla extract. If anyone got drunk you can blame me for putting 1 and a half Nattys in it plus a smigden of vodka.
