We'll I guess there was a team who had a 10' putt, the PRO missed  and the AM used all 3 mulligans on this one shot. All I can say is my AM
wasted a few, but also made 1. To me it's just good practice for them.

If you have a good idea on the amateurs' skill levels, you could give some of the players more mulligans than others. Get Jerry to print you off a handicap sheet that lists all the local's handicaps. That would give you a good idea wether they should get 2, 4, 6 mulligans or whatever.

Not trying to make it complicated here, just seems like we need a random flip thing. Always seem to have the pro-am thing going on and sometimes bumping players up or down makes THAT unfair.

If you don't like random flip, don't come out on Sunday, come on Tuesday for Pro Am, that's my opinion...... ROG

It's an interesting way to mix it up. Mulligans can be fun in that you get to decide when is the best time to use them. Plus, they encourage participation. Double pro teams are still winning every week, so we need to make it more fair to everyone or else just be snobs and not care. Doubles can be played so many different ways. Why is it that everyone always wants the same thing every time?

Come on mike, it was a question, not a statement. Guess I just don't think mulligans are good for improving your game.

In general, sure. But 3 mulligans in a pickup game ain't going to hurt anything. ;-)
