March 30th League was wet to say the least.

Samson, Pee Wee, Jimenez and UpChuck tried to brave the weather.

When we were throwing hole 7, the police came in and said they are shutting down the Park so joy riders would not try using our coarse as a 4x4 alley.

It was a blast besides Jimenez getting his keys locked in his truck, but we got in!!!

2K & Upchuck -1
PeeWee & Samson 3 or 4

We played a new 16, 17 and 18. Everyone seemed to like it tonight. Need more input. pads are getting closer to being in.

From what Shan has told me about them, they sound good.

On 16 there is 1 small tree that is about 40 feet off all the big trees. Try and bring that thing into play. Make it so if you throw to the left of it, you can smoke one down the fairway and maybe get a 2 if you go right of it, you make it most of the way safe, and have an EZ 3.

17 Try to bring some of the big trees into play. Also a right hander could hyzer over the street and end up OB.

18 if you walk slightly backwards towards the old 17 tee, there is a nice big Shade tree. That would be a good place for the new tee pad. Shade is alway nice in the summer.

You will have to come play next Friday, and see what you think. I am hoping I can give the parks board a definite answer soon. They have been worried about #17, so the change might help that. This change adds a major water hazard for both 16 and 17.

Flood zone?

You could always just skip 16 if it was to wet, you would only miss 1 hole.

There is a low area, when you throw 16 there is a high area all the way from the tee pad to the hole. it is less than 20 feet wide. It makes it difficult but a really cool hole.

When you throw the new 17 it is like throwing across the pond and is set up for a lefty. The disc has to go left inbetween some trees. There is a dry path to walk for both holes.

I think you would really like it. I use my basket for 16, and we throw back to 16 for 17.

April 13th,
Well, four people showed, but no golf was played!

Samson, UpChuck, Jimenez, and Scooter.

Probably a good thing those half dollar sized snow flakes might have knocked someone out!!!!!!

Friday April 20th

Buddy & Ralph win
Samson & Upchuck got second

We played 20 holes this evening and it was still a TOUCH wet, but still good times. The original 18 and the proposed change for 16 and 17.

Ralph and Buddy played the suggested changes for the first time tongiht and both said they like them. Jimenez, Pee Wee, UpChuck and Samson played them a couple weeks back and they liked them too.

We would love to see some out of towners next week, there is not a KDGA tourny scheduled, so come play Wellington!!!!!!!!
