Wednesday Night Doubles League

Rich and I went to the Little Casino for some shuffle board action.

He beat me 3 times.
I then smoked him in pool.

I did see the funniest thing ever.
3 old ladies, they had to all be over 65, came in and ordered 3 cans of Natural Light. They poured them into mugs and had a good time.

I think Dave may have went home with them???

Another huge league again this week. The young guys battled the old farts.

1st Harvey and Rich
2nd Shan and Smitty

We gave them 2 strokes to start out, made up the 2 strokes in the first 6 holes. Gave them 2 more strokes, which they held for the next 6 holes. We then talked them into playing tough shot. In the end, the beat us by 1 stroke, and took all the money.

We played Baden Square with some twists.
1-was on the opp. side of the sign
2-long and to the right like last year
3-we teed off from inside the building
4-basket was on the edge
5-basket was behind the tower, and we teed from the top of the steps
6-basket was moved to the left, and we teed off from the right/left/behind the tower.

Next week is going to be on campus at SW.

If there is a descent turnout we will play the college campus.If not, Dave wants to play Baden again.Should be a good turnout cuz of the Wellington boys.

That course is coooooooooollll!!!!!
That was like finding the old sticky Penthouse that you use to enjoy

Man I wish that was still a permanent course..
Smitty, you missed out.

We played 1 thru 5 and jumped to 9 three times(we played the alts on the third round).
We threw two discs each off the top of the 77 steps for a 1992 ROC after we finished.(I think Larry won that.)

I didn't catch all the scores but:

11 people total...

1st Stew and Shan -12
??? Bowlby and Rodney -8
??? Bart and Jared -5 or 6
??? Cliff---Cali -a couple

Oh yeah!
I hit basket and/or chains on hole 4.
I still haven't hit an ace at that course,but I have hit metal on all of them?!? How about that for some odds
