I hope you plan on having the basket on top of the same dugout as last year. I thought that was a good hole!!! Maybe come from a different direction this year to make it a little harder and to put the inside of the dugout into play. Making it more of a difficult shot.

That was a couple of years ago. There could be a basket on the top of a dugout? I was thinking about behind the backstop on the NE corner. That hole could be a round killer if you were not careful. It would be easy to play hole 4 . Go to the corner or the dugout. Play hole 5.

Any word on when we will get the flyers. I am ready to start posting some of them. We are only two weeks out from our "triple point" weekend of golf, is there anything that I can help out with to make it great.....

They will not be triple point events. The college will be double points and Cherry will be single. I don't know if we are going to have any special flyer or not. Our art guy is going to be busy having a baby any minute.

The biggest thing to do is just spread the word.

I hope we can get the college mowed 1 time after next weekend.

Saturday will be a Cherry Street, and is listed as the double points event on the schedule. We will run with that.

Sunday will be at the College and I need to get this one on the KDGA schedule soon.

I know it is not triple points, but if you play both days which all triple point tournaments are then you will get the same as triple points. 2+1=3..........That was all I was saying.

Okay, so Saturday Cherry Will be Double? Good.

I think it should be, since it was the tournament that earned us double point status. (Plus I can only play Saturday, and would hate to miss the double-pointer)

Yesterday and today! :)

Smitty and I built the stones around hole 6 at Cherry today.

SW didn't need much except a fresh mow. Burley and Dave Clift got out there on some bushhogs, and I trimmed around trees and baskets. Hopefully the grass doesn't get too hairy by Sunday.

Smitty may have some more ideas of what needs to be done, but I think it's looking good.

Were the stones on six built so Dal can get his own disc out?

I did see one area that could use a little more trimming. The sidehill to the left of 7's fairway. Any shot that doesn't anhyzer all the way to the pin from the short tee is tough to find.

I will go out to Cherry Friday night and layout the island.
I am also going to move the stone on hole 3.

I want to move the Cherry baskets on Saturday before we start.
First round odds will be on short locations
Evens will be on long locations

That is how the college is set up now. We will flip flop them during lunch.

The only other thing that will really need to be done is set-up the Ace Race course after the last round at the college. I plan on painting a tee-off line and an X for each basket (We will need a few portables). It would be helpful if someone other then CT and I knew where things needed to go so we could get it set-up quick after the Sunday round if needed.
