Wednesday Night Doubles League

If you were not there, you may have missed the best league in HISTORY!

For starters the course was sweeeeeeeeet!!

Teams:
Smitty and Rich
Ben and Bart
Scuba and Shan
Harv and Harv

To make a long story short.

Bart and Ben win at -16 (That gives Bart 8 pars in 3 weeks).

Smitty and Rich take a 1 on a 600 foot hole.

Harv and Harv hit an ACE for $50.00 (I payed my $5.00)

The best came down to this:

I talked them into playing "poles" if you hit a telephone pole, you put $1.oo into the pot. At the end we would do a CTP for the pot.

We had 13.OO in the pot. We are going to throw 3 shots each. During the first round, Rich hits 2 poles and the total is $15.OO. During the second round Shan skips 1 up to the pole. Remember the name of the game? He has to add $1.OO to the pot. We aren't talking about and EZ shot here. He then says "Beat that". Ben then steps up and nails it, to take all the $$$$.

What a night, see you in Oxford!

Yes, this was indeed a great layout, favored both righty and harvey the ACE HOLE MAN. I'm sure me and Ben will be back next week and I'll try to get Diqbal & Mr. Mehoff ,you know Jack, at the least. And remember boyz, bring them dollaz.

It was more of a touch shot. He wanted to make sure that he left it close for the EZ 2. It was dead center of the chains and in the bucket.

Also I just got a PDGA membership because I needed one for this tourney, how longs it usually take till you get a #?

Let me guess.. The hole was one that if you went through a certain tight spot, you got to take a stroke off. I bet Dave or you hit that spot on the drive, then throwing your next shot (which was actually your "1st shot"), Dave threw in a 300 foot make, thus carding a 1, even though it wasn't an Ace.

Am I right?

I wish I could have been there.. I have family visiting.
