I really think that 9 holes during lunch would be more then enough for them. I don't think that we want to deal with baby-sitting all day.

I know the X-man was wanting to play a tourney also.

I think that we may want to set it up close to the same as last year.

Hole 1 Normal from both to both
Hole 2 Mando to original basket like last year
Hole 3 Normal from both
Hole 4 Was the island last year could easily be done again
Hole 5 Was normal to both baskets.

Hole 7 We added a short pin. It was very very short.
Hole 8 Was normal, How about a mando under all the pines?
Hole 9 We played OB to the left of sidewalk.

We need to get going on our events. There are tons of people out playing at Cherry. We need to get a flyer or 10 out there and hang them up. Trees, shelters, dugouts are about all we have to hang them on.

There were a crap load of kids out there and I know we have the in to several more.

Do the entry fees look good or is $20 to cheap?

Yeah I have several kiddies that would love to play just get me some more info and I'll spread the word. And I'm at cherry alot so if you need me to do anything just ask and I'll do my best to oblige. I think that so long as whoever is putting the tourny on isn't eating alot of cost I think $20 bucks is sweet.

Little Muddy will have several buddies I am certain. $20 may be alittle much for a 9 hole junior tourney. I will volunteer my lunch to go with a group to keep things smooth. Are there flyers that I can modify from last year. If not, I will try to work on some and getting them out. We will need to iron out what course on what days and money before I do them.

JR. would only be $15 and they will get a disc.

Limited to 45 people each day, unless we did flights. Group A start at 8:00 Group B start at 11:00, Groups A second round at 2:00 Group B second round at 5:00.

If someone will write down all the info after it is decided tonight at leage about the Tourney weekend, I will get a flyer made and start getting them hung. I have a baseball game tonight so I will not be over to Cherry until probably around 9.

I got the "player's pack" ordered. They should be really cool. Stash mini's with the old WVDGA logo.

I think that Cherry may be extended into an 18 hole course for the tourney. I have a few ideas brewing in my head.

If the course isn't too tight that would be pretty kool to make cherry a 18 hole for the tournament.

He was thinking of expanding the course into Albright Park, and Whittier by the tennis courts.

To be honest, I am only looking at a way to make it less work for me. Playing the same holes twice is much easier then playing different holes both rounds.

I plan on picking the holes that will have the best flow and play the best.

Hole 4 Will be the first in Whitter maybe between the tracks and road
Hole 5 Will bring the Whittier courts into play somehow?

Hole 9 Will be hole will be hole 5? Maybe long and over the court?
Hole 10 Will be Goliath
Hole 11 Will be normal 7

Hole 14 Will be a shorty in Cherry

Hole 16 Will be in Albright

Looks like we will have to add a hole to Albright or Whittier.
