Harv does have several tee signs in his backyard. They are just like the signs at Cherry Street. Many of them are from the old SW course. I am sure the plan it to stick them in the ground at the grove. All we need is a warm day and a handful of people and we will have it done.

Somethings we need to think about.
1- The signs need to be far enough away from the trees that the mower can drive between them. This would be a problem on holes 1, 4, 9, 10

2- Many of the tees are with in feet of the road and will get smashed by people messing around or mudding. This is a problem on holes 7, 8, 11, 12. The signs will need to be atlest 30-40 feet from the road.

3- The sings will have to be removable. The problem is we are going to be using a round pipe in a round sleeve. This means that they will spin in the ground and need to be attached. I think we could put a hose clamp (or something similar) on the sign and the anchor and solve the problem.

4- Do we want to change any pads? I think hole 2 is a problem. Drives from hole 1 often go over the pad. Move it closer to 14th would be a simple solution. Hole 7 shouldn't play down the road, we could move this pad up on the top level.

5- We will want to be able to use the sleeves for baskets at the frizz.

Burley also has 9 sleeves in his backyard that he would like to have moved. They could be used for this job, the cement is already there and everything. Or we could use them to change a few holes. I have some ideas for 1, 2, 7, 8, 12, 13, 16.

It is time to do some work out there. We never play out there, and that is a shame. It really could be one of the better courses in the area with a little work.

Well it's going to be 65 degrees this Saturday....but I will be out of town.

I agree that we should take those sleeves out of Burley's yard and put them in for Alt pins at the grove. Smitty has some good ideas for a few new pin positions out there. Although, I'd hate to "change the course" :)

Harv is going to mark out the tees that he wants us to use for the course.

Sounds like we are going to try and install the sleeves/tees this Saturday. Shan is going to check on the auger so we don't have to hand dig all the holes. If we have it, we should go ahead and plant those extra sleeves in Burleys yard.

Someone let me know what time, so I can make plans to do something else. :D

Shan and I figured 10:00 would be a good start time on saturday. We will either meet at his house or at the grove.

What do you think? Less then 1 bag of cement/hole? Since it is just a sign and not a basket, I see now reason to go crazy. We will also need probably 2 sticks of PVC pipe for the sleeves.

My pick-up will not handle 15 bags of cement. If someone wants to meet me at the hardware store, we can get it all paid for.

My understanding was that the sleeves for the tee signs will also be used for baskets at sometime, the friz I guess.

The one down by Movie Gallery is what we normally use.

When do you want to pick them up? Friday afternoon or Saturday morning?

I have a mandatory class about noon, I will be out as soon as class is out. I was told it may take 3 hours for the class.

That is pretty lucky for us! I mean, we planned it that way.
