Latitude 64 Discs

Post by mrsenortyler »

I picked up a Opto Line (Plastic Type) Vision (Disc Name) today. They fly understable, it will be interesting to throw them with no wind. I might like this instead of my roadrunner. I really want to try some of their other discs.

The Striker sounds cool, like teebirdish, and they have disc called the XXX that is supposed to be overstable and fast.

I guess they are doing something right, if Jesper Lundmark left innova to throw their plastic, and help them design their discs!

I hear Maceman likes the Vision, anybody else try these yet?

I've thrown the Mirus. It's flight is pretty similar to a Surge. The Medius flys kinda like a shockwave. The Sinus SP is like a soft Zone.

Brandon Nelson in Newton throws the Vision and putts with the Sinus.....Sweet Phil from Newton putts with the Sinus AP........
Throw some D's on it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Vision is VERY flippy. I really enjoy trying to throw the biggest anny's that I can with this disc.

The Riot is an overstable driver, flies very much like my firebirds. It doesn't have a super fat rim like a boss, easy to get my hands on. The disc is very flat too.

This disc feels much like a Teebird, maybe a TL, I really like the way it flies. Throw it flat, it goes straight and fades a little at the end. It will turn when I throw it hard, or into the wind.

the vision is a get outa trouble no-left roller. i carry it occasionally just for kicks but it's really too understable (171g) to do much good.
sinus SP is a great upshot disc. it's very overstable with zero glide. the plastic stays pliable but eventually domes like the SE rhynos after a year or so.
lookin to throw that striker as well. bob, you've had time to fling that puppy since GBO. what ya think?

Just realized, this review was for the Striker.

I do like this disc, it is staying in the bag.

I had (and lost) :( a spike. which is a putter. It had 2 spots on the top that feel like sandpaper. I really found it to be great for the pitch putt. Very controllable
for a left to right putt. Like when that F&%$ing tree or bush is directly in your
line of putt. I have had a vision for over a year and love it!!! Very much like a
roadrunner or sidewinder. It will hyser flip into an anny in medium winds
(head or tail). A strong pull will make this baby roll really far. Just wish I was a
better roller.

spike is pretty useful but what a funny name for a really understable disc. maybe "screw" or "roll" would be better for a hyzer flippin disc. it feels a lot like the sinus but shallower. shaped a little like a zone but flips easier than a meteor.

i'll have to hit kindy up about the striker. it was his birthday yesterday in case ya'll wanna send him a belated e-shot. wifey had to taxi last night
