Really nice disc, much better than the champions, way more stable & predictable, just as fast, just as long, great plastic.

Is it a test run with the star stamp, or bar stamp?

Those are part of Innova's new Stabilizing process. Somehow, when they let the discs cool, they let the wings get pulled up and change the angle of attack making the discs more stable. I don't think it works on champion discs, only star.

They have done this process with the Orc, Destroyer, and Boss, and they are called "night shift" and are mostly blue, I did see two green ones on ebay. $$$

The regular run Star Boss' are to be released in Feb. and will range down to 168-175g and have a flight pattern more like the champion.

At least, thats what I collected from the Ask Dave D thread...

Leo's boss is a nightshift and is blue... which is all he throws. He intends to use it only on water holes!!!

I thought I read that the stabilizing process will only be on Champion plastic...

The mini bar stamp test run star bosses should go on sale sometime today at discgolfvalues.
I believe these are a test run of Night Shift Star Bosses, as opposed to a test of regular Star Bosses. The regular Star Bosses should fly stable to slightly unstable, the Night Shift should fly stable to overstable.
I did see the post that made it sound like what you said though.

Like a 1st run, or a production "feldberg" stamped domey one? They are two completely different discs.

Got some throw time with this thing. Super fast, and deceivenly stable. I'm gonna have to look into "NS" destroyers, you can tell the stabling process works. Why does innovas "good chit" always in limited production numbers?

They are working on doing the stablzation on star and champion. All the "night shift" discs where blue no other color was produced. The Champion destroyer should be out some time soon in regular run and these are suppose to have the process doen to them. Star Bosses are showing up as CFR right now and are differnt than the "night shift" test runs. I hat ehow innova puts out a disc it gets great reviews then the production ones aren't the same.

Not true there were two green destroyers that were the night shift type and I wouldnt be suprised if there was more that didnt get to leave the factory or are in some sponsered players bag.

Here are the Ebay item #s
260345523435 and sold for $71
and 260345522493 sold for $90

Innova is now making Glo CFR destroyers also
