Where are all the Discraft players?????

Post by Master Dyck »

Hey, all you people who throw Discraft, Where are you? I have 10 Discraft discs up for auction on eBay and only 5 of them have bids. I have 12 Innova discs up for sale and 11 of them have bids. What does this say about Innova vs. Discraft. Just wondering........

If nothing else, it's for a good cause and you get a disc to show for it.

I will be putting 10 more discs up for auction tonight so keep looking. The link is in my post in the off-topic forum.

I posted, then deleted my post. I didn't want to start a D-craft vs. Innova thread.

D-craters are above that, we understand that Innova has a few quality discs and a ton of brainwashed followers.

Post some discs that we don't have or want/need and we will bid.

Not trying to cause a war. Just trying to get bids on my discs with a little bantering fun is all.

Sorry, fresh out of those. I could sure use that money now. $300+ for two discs. What a deal. I didn't spend a dime on either.

Don`t forget to include Crazy John Brooks[Innova guy who in his day was the greatest player Kansas will have ever had] as one of the brainwashed.

Crazy could beat half of the players in Kansas with a coffee can lid.

He only used 3 discs when he ruled the world.

I'm just guessing but if he threw Innova only i would guess one of them was an Eagle and then the other two the Roc and Aviar.

Wrong!

Crazy is was an old school player.

Viper, Roc, and Aviar

He didn't even need a chair, he just sat on his water jug. I never did get to see him play, but I have been told several stories.

I followed him around one year during the Wide Open. EVERY......and I mean EVERY single putt was either high or low. He NEVER missed right or left of the basket. It was incredible to watch...

My favorite Crazy John story was from the 94 Wide Open. He was in the final nine with Climo and a couple of other guys, I don't recall who they were right now, when they got to number 14 at Rosedale. The basket was down at the base of the steps (original placement). Kenny and the other two guys were carrying bags full of discs and one even had a caddy. Crazy John had four or five discs in his hand and a water jug. Everyone else took careful straight typical shots hyzering through the gap through the trees while Crazy decided it was a good opportunity to entertain the crowd. He made a big spectacle of winding up and throwing a big sky roller up over the top of everything. It was the most amazing thing a newbie like myself had ever seen, and he parked it. Needless to say the crowd of 150 or so exploded in applause. Good times, good times. I love that guy.... He entertained the crowd the entire time. Climo won and I don't remember seeing Crazy in a final nine at the Wide Open after that.
