Hey Discraft peeps,
I won one of these alleged "FLX Surges" at a tournament this weekend. Are these things any good? I heard some people say they'd save FLX plastic for rain and cold weather. I will go give it a couple tosses today to see how I like it.
Thanks!

What are they supposed to be like Innova wise?
(Don't say better! )

WRAITH ,but more stable.I really liked mine all year. You just need to have faith...It feels floppy ,but it is not less stable.Medium strength arms will probably like it a lot.Cold weather for sure !

They are not floppy at all. They have a great grip. More stable than Z or ESP surges. I would say they are close to the stability of a TeeRex.

As with any other disc ,stability will fluxuate .Personally,I think the "Z"surges have a more stable range .

I've been very dissapointed in the stability of ESP surges. They seem to lose more stability every time I got one.
The blue first runs with a yellow stamp, I think they should be more in that range of stability.
The Star Wraith has replaced my Surges

The flx surge I have is quite a bit more overstable than my esp surges.

The FLX's that I have thrown are DEFINITELY more stable than ESP.

I'm a little disappointed with my new FLX Surge. It's too under stable. It has a place in the bag but doesn't compete with the Wraith.

I'm flat out bombing the Wraith. So predictable, so fast, and so much glide.
I'll have to tryout the FLX Surges, but its gonna take a lot to regain my trust in those.

I threw this about 10 times yesterday and threw it at same time as some of my wraiths. Seemed pretty stable, it didn't turn as easy as the wraith, but it was a brand new disc. I will keep tossing it to see how it looks after a couple weeks of play.
