I used to be able to remove hot stamps with nail polish remover or acetone, but on star plastic it isn't working so well, any ideas?

I'm not sure if it will do much better since acetone isn't working, but rubbing alcohol is worth a shot...

I use acetone on all plastic the only trouble I have is with the ESP, I pour it over the stamp until all the color is run off then wipe the foil off no problem, you must not be using enough, try it over a plate or something so you can re-use the acetone and they should come right off.

You might as well try gas and a match.
You don't use them anyway
