So does anyone know anything about Innovas new disc? Was looking at the 2006 Worlds pics and seen it there right next to a Star Shark

our club got a few for the GBO. no reported infections yet.

So what are the specifics of the disc. any details that you can give us?

My brother, Ryan, picked one up on e-bay and then I got one at Hays. He and I threw it back and forth Sunday night and I don't care what anyone says, This disc has already found a place in my bag. First time I threw it, it went dead straight for 200' and landed without the slightest of fade. We must have thrown it over 100 times and IMO it will tell you exactly how you release a disc. If you can release the disc straight and flat, that's exactly how it will fly. Makes a great slight turnover disc. or slight hyser disc. I threw it as hard as I could about 5-6 times and my furthest throw was 315. So, it's a perfect straight-line upshot disc. We also found out that it is a very forgiving disc. (great for beginners) If you hyser it too much it will straighten out slightly and not be so damaging of a lie. And after 100+ throws it only had 2 little tiny nicks in it. Hope they make it in Champion or Star plastic soon with the same characterstics. What other comments if any, do people have on this disc?

I haven't thrown this disc or the goblin, but I didn't care for the grip much on the skeeter. I liked the coyote though. How many mids have come out in the last couple of years? I mainly throw the MRV and the Buzzz. I like the Breeeze for short hard turnovers. I do need something that won't go very far, but will stay straight. I'm hyzering my Rhyno too much and everything else goes too far, so maybe I need to check out something new. ESP Banger flys good in the hands of a certain pro I've played with. While I like many Innova drivers best, I pretty much go with D-Craft for mids.

How hard do you throw these shots? Have you tried a Magnet?

And the ESP Banger GT is a great driving putter. Stable, stable, stable. Plus with the groove, it feels like you're throwing a mid instead of a putter.

I second the magnet...I've got a soft Magnet I've had for a little over 4 years and still holds a line pretty damn well. I use it quite a bit on anything 60-70 in or so...

I don't throw the putter pure enough for shots over 220'. My mids usually go around 300'. I need something for in between. At one time I was using the spider, but the grip on that and similar discs always felt funky.

You could probably use the same Magnet, or the harder one for that...I don't have a jump putt at all so my putt range is pretty limited compared to most others...
