McCormack had some of those at Ted's Dread and I got to mess with it. It's like two distinctly different pieces of plastic. One for the rim and one for the flight plane. They are joined underneath with another inner ridge. It looked like if you hit something hard enough with it it would pop apart. Different to say the least.

the disc you are talking about is called the Oddesy, it is produced and marketed for entry level players and will be available in a set with the scream and or scream DT (did you see any of the new dimples?) I watched several players with slow arm speed in St. Louis absolutley crush the scream dt, 20-30% further than there regular distance drivers, for players with over 30-40 mph release, they will flip hard and not really be good for distance.
Yeah, the dimpled ones were a softy plastic almost like the DGA Blowfly. Are these PDGA approved yet? Certainly a departure from the norm for Gateway I'd say.

I went to the Blue Grass Open a few weeks ago and watched Justin brunnell absolutly crush some of these new discs. One had a type of air pocket under the rim and he was crushing it.
I added a Soft Wizard to my bag that Brunnell gave me and so far it is becoming a great driving putter.
