Let's face it, a Magnet never goes bad.Iit just developes more character with age. My first putter was a Magnet. Oh how it has grown. It's old, yellow and beaten beyond mercy. But it's money in my backyard.

My first putter was a magnet also and then i went to a soft magnet. i still have them in my practice putting stack

Its really too bad, the first ace was on old old old hole 17 in lawrence the one that teed off the top of the hill, over the skate park (tennis court at that time) to the pin by the big tree, I remember it so well, orange magnet that just flew on a b-line straight into the chains, I yelled and screamed like a little kid (actually I was only like 17 so kinda was a kid)
Man thinking about it now I think I will buy a few magnets.... E-mac hook it up?

That's where my first ace was, too!

see there, I also had a cool ace in Lawrence on old old 8 I think it was now the hole goes from up by the shelter to a long pin across the creek or a short pin down by the telephone pole, we used to play it to the short left placement on the crest of the hill, I skip aced it with a whippet, then found out crazy Bob had aced it like 5 minutes earlier with a kick off the tree.
