Whats new?
Aren't they all???? =)
Im excited to hear what people think. I've heard it's similar to the Special edition plastic..... similar being the key word... course we've all heard crap like that before.
The star plastic is the same as the special blend they have used for their USDGC rocs. I have not been impressed with the discs I have thrown so far in the star plastic, but i know in the summer time i did like my Special blend roc, better than champion just becuase it had a better grip for when my hands got sweaty due to heat. That is the only real good thing i have seen about the star discs so far is that they have more grip in wetness, but otherwise i would choose a champion over a star disc as well
I threw the star wraith and orc again last night, I was a little happier with the wraith but I still dont think it will replace the pro. The orc is a machine, I was hitting lines and throwing it a mile, the disc has a great flight and really holds well, when this thing goes into production I will be getting a stack. I do think that overall the grip is better than the pro or champion, and I also agree that the star plastic should be considered mid-grade. Oh well I will toss them around in Wichita this weekend and see what is what on a bigger course.
