I was wondering if anyone's tried the Pro "soft" rhyno?

Over the last few months ive moved from praying, to actually practicing my putts with my DX rhyno. Ive gone from getting close or hitting "maybe" 20 percent of my putts to hitting chains on about 75 percent of them (inside 30 ft). However, Ive found (as I suffered all day today) that I get a hell of alot of spitouts. In fact, today over 18 holes, I had approximatly 10 spitouts. Anyways, so Im curious if anyones tried the disc, and if they felt it was sticky enough?

I don't think the plastic matters much.

Most of the top Innova Pros use KC Aviars. Kev uses an Aviar P&A or a Rhyno.

Most of Discrafts top Pros use the Pro D Challenger.

All of these are firm putters.

I don't putt with hard putters. The grip is so firm that I can't get any feel on my shots. Since I can't grip them as well, I don't get enough spin on them and they drop straight to the ground.

Of course most good players like hard putters, so they must not have the same problem.

I throw the Pro Rhyno. It's fairly close to the old SE Rhyno that a lot of people love. I throw rhyno's as approach shots because their flight is slow like a putter but much more over-stable and predictable. There are a lot of people that putt with them though, and every single one that I know prefers a soft rhyno.... Ben, Brad, Scooba, Jack, Kevin, Nick, Louis, plenty more.

Hard plastic does bounce more while soft plastic grips the chains. Hard plastic may fly more consistently. I think it depends on the throwing style.

If you chain out a lot, it is probably the putt and not the disc. I'd analyze the shots that are spitting. Which side do they miss? How much height do they have? How much spin? The players who seem to putt the straightest lines (therefore not getting as many spits) are those that use a hyzer putt.

Kevin use old DX rhynos with the big rhyno stamp. He also has a proto rhyno that he got from Downtown Randy Brown. He doesn't use a soft rhyno.

Convers says, "Just throw it in man - that's all you have to do"

Actually, i meant if it was the "big Rhyno" stamp one...I didn't even notice the link said proto.... Muchas Gracias eric...

I think Im going to try and add this one to my bag. After today's round, watching birdies turn to pars, and pars into bogies, ( I wanted to throw my bag in the pond...instead I turned over a beast and watched it hit the river...) I need something new.

NO and NO.

You aren't going to find one. It came out before the star stamp that you posted before. It is made out of firm DX plastic.

Both of those are SE "soft putters".
