How close to the first runs?

Are first ones Stable, flippy, or straight?

And for how long?

Ok, I got this one I went out with two of every buzzz when I got my Midnights, all max weight, very little wind, throwing flat with about 300 ft of power, each 5 times and this is what I got:

1st run's were straight and stable all the way

2nd run's (the domey ones) understable, less D

Cryztal's straight, flipped in the middle of flight slightly

Newer Run flydyes no dome straight all the way little less D then 1st run

Midnight's straight all the way, a little fade at the end more D than all 4 of the others.

I've compared all of them side by side and it may just be my eyesight but the midnight's have a slightly lower profile than the others, which might be the reason for the xtra D.

Or I could be wrong.

I just got a midnight buzz and have never been a big fan of the buzzz since I am pretty serious Roc thrower, but I am have never thrown a first run buzzz so I can compare with that. These midnight buzzzs feel awsome and i cant wait to go out and try one.

So.... are people finding the Midnight buzz to be worthwhile, or is it just another ploy for "big bucks"?

Thanks Tank. You are so helpful. I put my D buzz in a pond today on a long ass roller. It rolled a mile.... up over hte ridge and down into the pond. I must have looked for an hour... found zip... So now Im looking for an investment piece... so to speak. I loaded up on 1x and pre-barry beasts last week, so now Im trying to decide what Buzzz's i want.... (And I cant afford first run crap... I saw two first runs going for like 90 bucks today on ebay.... thats sick!)

If you haven't thrown a first run, then you'll never know the difference.
So... get a Z Buzzz it's still the best mid on the market, and Discraft isn't like Innova, they saw the feedback and have been trying to recreate the first run qualities of the Buzzz, so any newer run Buzzz is gonna be close. But yes go for a Midnight, first of all, because they are The Players Cup fundraiser, and second, they're about as close as you'll get to a first run without paying $50 a disc.

I already have a sweet Z at 174.. at times it feels a bit heavy, so Im worried the midnights might be way to heavy.

would i be better off looking for a lighter first run?

Either one would be good, but I suggest the Midnight.

Thanks E-mac.... are they as gooey as im reading? I have to give nate his flick back, so I guess I can just look at one of his... Im big on the feel of a disc. I have a few Z's that everyonce in a while i throw well, but they just dont feel right....
