Yes, I finally got a chance to throw it..and it is STABLE!! Even in headwind. I think it will be a pretty good upshot/windy putter.

How's about that thumb groove. EWWW
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

It was a money maker for this weekend for sure. Or maybe it was just the dude who was using it. Either way, this is the best of the Groove Track discs.

It's my favorite putter....

Okay, so maybe I am just a newbie, but I still love this disc. I have two of them and I don't have the arm to use them for more than putting at the moment, but............................give me time........

I won one this weekend. I'm going to take it out for a test drive at league tonight.

I bought one a couple of months ago. I was using it for a bit, but the plastic just seems too slick to me.

I'm not sure if it's just the run I got since I usually love the grip of ESP plastic, but the banger just doesn't feel quite right.

For those of you who use the disc, do you do lob putts, or push? I've been changing my style over to a lob putt and the thumbtrac causes issues since it's hard to change my thumb position to adjust the hyzer angle...

I haven't putted with one, but IMO, statistically the banger is too stable for lob putts. Seems like one of those discs you'd have to jam in.

I think there's some truth to that. I fear that my D Challenger has the same issue..

I was using my beat to hell Soft Magnet at the course this weekend and it seemed to be money for the lob putt. I may have to go back to my old faithful - just screwed if I ever lose it...

jam the soft banger. not more stable than a challenger ...wrong word ... just has less lift and so is less effected by crossing up/down drafts. It`s still a challenger groovin!!!!That`s what
I was using at Ponca in all that wind!!

As soon as I got my hands on a Soft X Banger GT, I took my ESP's out of my bag. I have to agree that the ESP's feel very slick, but I didn't know any better and they worked for a few months. The Pro D version is grippier than the ESP by a long shot and stiffer than the Soft X version, so you might just have to give 'em a toss and see which of the two you prefer....

I've got a Pro D Banger and like it, but the groove top still bugs me for trying to use a lob putt and adjusting the hyzer angle.

I would love to get my hands on a soft banger, haven't found one that the price was quite right on yet though...
