FLX is ESP ! It`s just more flexible than the straight ESP . I`m guessing that the plastic mix in FLX allows some of the weight /size issues to be bent.I know that the reason Drones stayed in D plastic only for so long was because of weight /size problems. The stiffer ( read more dense ) plastics need "fillers " or "lighteners" depending on the amount of plastic actually used to make the disc . To much of either makes more expensive crappy discs. By the way , this is the reason for milky , or opalescent colors in some of the Z discs ( instead of clear ) .Remember the first run "milky" Z - Buzzes / Crushes / Talons / Flicks ? That is because of fillers or stretchers !

What is with the colors on the discraft discs?
The new forces are half pink and half red. I've seen a lot of Z plastic discs that look part orange, part pink, part red. Why don't they more colors and better colors? I guess most of them are ok, but it'd be nice if they made red discs and not off-red.

Just got my Z-Forces today. I received 2 blue and 1 red sparkle. Hopefully I`ll get a chance to test them soon. I also got 3 light blue super stiff Zone putters. Smitty, E-mac,Got a report of your take on these discs?

It sounds like they are using liquid color, and running it very light. Some of the color vs stability issues would be more related to granulated color.......which does seem to make sense, because I've never heard of stability issues color vs. color in Z plastic......Schoen-hopper wrote:What is with the colors on the discraft discs?
