flx pred

Post by ronconversjr »

tested@70 degrees..niiiccceeee!!!!If you are into preds I bet you like this flavor. It seemed more overstable than some "Z" old school preds.Bomber spike hyzers 350+pretty much stop where they hit.Tried low angle power shots to force skipping and got it,but it stopped sooner than my normal "old""Z"thrown at the same angle.Punched a big anhyzer flex out about 450 lowind conditions,I consider this a good pull with any of my drivers !!I`m happy, can`t wait for production to start!!   :D

That rocks, I hope they keep pushing FLX out, I'm looking forward to FLX Avengers, Magnets, and Challengers.

Has anybody tortured the FLX yet? I was thinking with the way the plastic goes back to form after being bent/taco'd, that the stability on these discs are gonna last the life of the plastic.(which, in this case, forever 8) )

I have a rubber Shark, which is softer than than the FLX, and have abused the hell out of it playing catch in parking lots and throwing huge sky rollers with it on concrete to watch it flop when it hits and bounce up into the air and actually flatten out and glide a bit, and over the last year of torture, it's flight has not changed one bit.

MMM an FLX Flash.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

The Pred is STABLE! Going to be a great disc for Winter, or Rain play, but the middle of summer it's gonna be pretty floppy.imo

In your opinion, do you think that will effect your confidence in the disc, or effect your throw/grip(maybe it will bend and release at an unintended angle?) Or is it just being used to/comfortable with the Z?

I'd say it's more of being comfortable with the Z Pred. I will throw the FLX when it's cold, or raining tho.

quick stops= less guesswork

An overstable mid! Let`s review the benifits of this plastic 1)vibration damping
2)grabs chain
3)stays close to basket on impact (given a decent shot)
4)has a wider "kill"angle in other words less ricochet
THIS MEANS MORE ACES, BETTER STOPS ON TUNNEL SHOT MISTAKES,CLOSER STOPS ON ACE RUNS ,LESS BOUNCE OUTS

NEED ANY MORE REASONS!!!

AS A BONUS FLX CAPABILITIES ALSO COME IN PRED FORM!!!
Let`s look at what was offered :FLX SURGE long straight
FLX BUZZ mid straight
FLX PREDATOR long overstable
FLX---------- mid overstable
you fill in the pattern. Pps I agree a CHALLENGER would round out the FLX series nicely
