Stillwater Classic Sat. Nov. 21st

Post by jump_putter »

They are having a B-tier in Stillwater on Saturday. It's a little pricey for a one day tourney (like $80 for opens, $60 for Adv and $40 for Am2), but I might think about going if I can find a travel buddy, If not Im staying in town to play Randy's tourney again. Post on this thread if anyone from the area is thinking bout going.

Wish you were there. 11 open players, tough crowd, 9 old mach 1 baskets. Light rain in the morning turned into a pretty nice afternoon. And yes, it payed pretty well

The baskets were "improved" Mach 1's. Way better than playing at daniels.

It was kind of a screwy event.

Started out thinking it was going to cost me $65. Normal 1 day B-tier price.
Then thought it was going to cost me $80 with the Ace fund and lunch.
Ended up costing me $90 with Ace fund and lunch.

Was playing OK, had 2 horrible spits in 3 holes. Then had made some bad shots and ended up shooting a horrible first round.

Played much better the 2nd round, didn't really even need to play. They were only paying 4 spots and I had already shot myself out of the cash the first round.

You didn't miss anything Ronnie. You will be much happier playing Randy's event and you will probably have more money in your pocket because of it.

Nobody was going to beat Ron today. He was throwing good shots and getting the Convers luck on his bad shot.

36%????? Thought it was mandatory to pay AT LEAST 40% in a sanctioned event?? Guess I am glad I didnt head down then, I'm gonna go play Randy's mini. The first Hard Core payed me back $80 on a $20 entry and we only had 7 ppl.
