Each Am Player in the doubles event will receive a free t-shirt with entry. There are some teams that have contacted me already. I will open up separate divisions in the am and open divisions if enough teams request a certain division. You can preregister for the doubles at www.lsdiscs.net as well.

Hey Ronnie. I am sincerely sorry that you were displeased with the doubles tournament. Let me know what you were unhappy with or contact me and I would be happy to offer an explanation or find a way to fix anything if possible.

I was just a little unhappy that the open field only returned 75% payback on Saturday.....I guess Im just from the old school where the pros always got a min. of 100%...

I don't see a problem of 75% IF the other 25 % goes to course improvement . Some thing i never understood about disc golf. When you pay to play at League or small tourneys such as C and B tourney why dont they put the money into The course. When you pay to play at the Ball golf course it so they can up keep the courses. We have baskets that are falling apart. The city cant aford to do all the mantaining of the courses or most of any of the parks for that matter. Why does it always have to be about putting money into players pockets? This is one of the reasons I don't play league and tourneys much . i dont see my money going to good use . Just ends up in some one elses pockets.

I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

Re: 2010 WICHITA WINTER WARM UP DOUBLES SATURDAY FEBRUARY 20TH
So having an opinion make a person an idiot? Tell me whats wrong with taking 25 % and putting it back into the courses we play ? Maybe We could afford tee pads at Colwich, Derby or Valley center. Pecan in winfield could use pads and signs. Newton needs signs. Alot of these courses could be alot more user friendly with a little money put into them but Parks departments cant afford to pay for maintaining the parks let alone our course in thier parks. If having an opinion makes me an idiot so be it. Maybe this is one reason The pubic doesn't see disc golf as a serious sport? We hold one charity event per town a year and then go back to the parks department and beg for money or trees or pads or expect them to pay for mowing and fixing backets . Wouldn't it be nice if we could present them with a check 2-3 times a year toward maintaining the courses?

Re: 2010 WICHITA WINTER WARM UP DOUBLES SATURDAY FEBRUARY 20TH
And YES you are an idiot, but not because you have A opinion, its the opinion itself thats stupid.... We do take money for things like this in our club dues, that oh thats right, YOU DONT PAY, because you dont play the club. You try to come off as this high and mighty disc-er but people for the most part think your a joke....There are many charity events, but to take 25% of every event and put it towards course development is retarded..Since you dont play tournaments, do even have any comprehension of the amount of money or events that are played every season????? You are talking about MILLIONS of dollars every year, and yes some courses do need repairs, this is crazy. They're are those who make their living (or a 2nd income) by playing in tournaments, and to give away that much of the prize funds would kill already low payouts.....Next time you want to talk about things you know nothing of, do it in the mirror so the rest of us are not subjected to you
