To clarify, I would sign up for either ball golf OR disc golf, not both?

Also how will counting strokes help determine which sport wins--especially with team scramble vs. match play?

I was a little confused about this too. I know it says call with questions, but I'm not sure I'd be able to attend anyway.

Almost played the Katy course in Parsons the other day and did Quarry Stone in Chanute instead.

You sign up for one or the other...that much I know. The other question I don't know about. I'm just kind of the messenger/flyer designer on this one. I just typed what they told me. I do see your point though. I would imagine the whole Match Play aspect would have to be thrown out for it to work. Thanks for pointing this out though. I'll send an email and try to find an answer for you.

Answer I got:
I believe that each team will need to keep a score card and tally strokes for each hole.
Pretty sure that afterwards they'll add up all the scores (by strokes), multiply the Par score (54 usually for us as example) by how many ever teams are in that sport to get a total under/over par score per sport. Just a guess on that part, but it seems viable. Hope to see some of you all there.

This idea wasn't conceived by the TDs until towards the end of summer...and technically the event's in the Fall. I've certainly played both sports at a later date comfortably. Scheduling around area Disc Golf Tournaments and events at the Katy Golf Course led to the later date I believe. If the interest isn't there, they might push it back until warmer weather. The ball golf side will have no problem filling up. It appears the disc golf side is going to be a different matter...
