It turns out the answer may as well have been "no" because the list of cons for that 9-holer far outweighed the pros. But we did get a little exercise and Britt got to practice her putting stroke.

Warmed up, we barreled north toward Manhattan at 54 mph. After a long walk in the wrong Warner Park and some helpful directions from a very well-spoken 13 year old, we found the Arby's, the trail littered with beer cans, and a gang of like-minded nerds milling about near hole 1. Litter aside, what a great impression the park makes. 3's bucket standing proudly atop the hill, wonderful signage and a treacherous first fairway the likes of which this flat-lander rarely gets to see. We just knew we were gonna have some fun.
Hole 1 and 2 went off without any real fireworks and then I fluked a blind anny putt out of the cedars for a deuce on 3. Feeling pretty cock and now standing on top of the world, I ripped a buzzz
deep into the trees 80' right of the bucket.
Luckily Britt was there to show me how to do it.

What an awesome use of a unique space. Y'all should be proud. Nice balance of technicality and length to give the advanced player something to chew on without alienating the novice.
I caught chains off the tee on hole 8 but that wasn't near as exciting as stepping up to hole 9.
We had a 25+ mph tail wind on this "feel free to overthrow me" bomb. Left this one about 45' short ... http://youtu.be/9tXp63h2bj0 ...and airballed the putt. Still, "Super fun" time @ Warner Park.
