Kansas Disc Golf Association

I will be moving to Wichita in December. Just wondering what the disc golf scene is like and what I will be able to expect when I get there. i.e. can i play all year round? bc I have never been anywhere by South Texas and Florida.

Herman Hill & Oak Park are high quality courses. Derby and Newton are also good and not too far away. Lots of players in Wichita. We have a league that plays twice a week year round. Welcome.

alright sounds good. I will be looking forward to jumping right in to the club. I am pretty excited to come up there. Everyone I have talked to says that Kansas has a pretty good golf scene.

Wellington is 30 minutes south as well as Winfield and both play leagues year round as well. We usually have a few from ICT down every week to play Wellington league. Winfield travels between courses and sets a lot of temp courses; league is on Wednesdays. Wellington league is every friday, rain, shine, sleet or snow, at 6:15. bring your lights in the winter:)

Im really looking forward to play some Kansas Disc Golf. Its going to be fun to pretty much constantly be playing a new course. Really happy that I am not going some where where there is no dg courses. I have found myself pretty lucky here in San Antonio and soon to be in Kansas.
