The Ultimate 5

Post by jump_putter »

Smitty brought up an interesting topic on the mic at Beloit.. He called it his "My 5"..The 5 people you would want to play golf with if you only had 1 more round. Or the card you would play on for the rest of your life...
It got me thinking, I dont think that I could narrow this to 5 ppl, ("My 5" would likely have 15 ppl) I know a 1 that I would have..
1. 'SputNick...A.K.A. Nick Bunch- He taught me the game and I have played more rounds with him than I can count
2.-5...... I would have to think about this so hard, but here's a few that come to mind.... Downtown, Bo/Crispin/Wiggins/Nelson (they come as 1 player that rotates in lol), Nasty Nate, Ring, Hickman, George Smith, Buddy K., 2 away, Duck, Babbit, Josh Crowl.......Actually anybody as long as its not Smitty ..lol
Who's your top 5? And I think he had limited it to golfers..

Don't know if a persons 5 should be public info. I am totally crushed that I am not in your 5!

I figured I was since you were able to force me to take a double circle 6! I am still very mad at that!

Hickman
Randy Brown
Timmy Gill

Are the 3 all time starters for me. The other 2 switch depending on the course, level of their play, and the event.

Cale
E-Mac
Mace
Wife
Bryce Longerbone
Nolan
Josh Crowl
Devan Owens
and several others.

Last person I would ever pick Ronnie Unruh! He is below R-factor! Don't cry Ronnie you are higher on the list then Feldburge.

Alternates are Phil Arthur, Patrick Brown, Jim Soutter
This is my list for electrifying shotmaking and just good folks.
8)
For a laid back day with friends it might have to be
Randy Brown, Dennis Vascholtz, Terry Burley, Chris Smith, and Brendan Hickman. Pretty tough decision...I know so many really great players and some mighty fine people....

1) Randy Brown: This guy inspires me. Very encouraging to everyone and plays the game as it should be played. Smart off the tee and with deadly accuracy in the short game.
2) Shan Mann: Great guy who always finds a way to make you laugh.
3) Eric McCabe: I've only had the pleasure of sharing a round a couple of times, one of which he shot -10 at the Rock. Amazing to see what is possible with a disc through this man.
4) Kyle Schoenhofer: My little bro has a ton of potential. He can both drive and putt really well, he just needs to not let the bad holes discourage him. That and play more! Fun to watch his game progress.
5) Better leave this spot open.

For my last round of golf - top five

1. My wife - always! we started this thing together and will end it that way. love ya babe
2. the wife - cause my wife and the wife would make it an extra fun and long round with there extra activities and laughs
3. Smitty - with a portable microphone and he is married to the wife. Plus if he wouldn't have landed a job in Ransom and Dodge during his life we would have never started playing the game. Thanks Smitty.
4. Jeremy Taylor - the lodge and his family are the best, and he can cook up some grub to satisfy the appetites after the extra long round due to the ladies stumbling around.
5. Nikko - cause wife thinks he is a little hotty and she would be ready to roll later!!!!!!!! And I can woop him off the course if know what i mean and needed lol - if he is not available I will take T-rude, he is a good compliment to smitty, can play disc golf and also kind of like a lil walking encyclopedia! I can learn about stuff like types of clouds.

One card rest of life.
1. Melanie Snodgrass
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?
5. ? I have limited experience and just getting to know the disc golf world so I will hold out.

Mammatus, also known as mammatocumulus (meaning "mammary cloud" or "breast cloud"),[1][2] is a meteorological term applied to a cellular pattern of pouches hanging underneath the base of a cloud. The name mammatus is derived from the Latin mamma (meaning "udder" or "breast"), as some consider there is a resemblance between the characteristic shape of these clouds and the breast of a woman.

See I wasn't THAT drunk.
