I thought this might be kind of fun. You can pick any hole on any course and plug it into your "Greatest Course". If you like what someone has started, quote them and add or make changes. If you remove a hole from their current course, you have to give a good reason.
Here is my start:
Hole 1 - Salina the Rock hole 3 - Perfect par 4. You don't have to have a huge gun to get a 3. You need to good shots and a putt.
Hole 2- Hole 2 East Emporia long or short - A great Disc Golf hole. Go big? Go down the middle? What ever you do, you better commit and do it. If you don't commit you will pay the price.
Hole 3- Hole 1 at SW - Another great 2 shot hole. Go right off the tee then throw a hyzer upshot.
Hole 4 - The island hole at McPherson- Finally throw you a bone. You better be nail your shot or you are taking a penalty 4.
Hole 5 - Hole 4 at the Pecan Grove- Another good 2 shot hole. Drop a bomb anhyzer, then a controlled upshot to get yourself in position to putt.
Hole 6 - Hole 17 long Emporia West course. The first par 5 on the course. Hit the Gap, get in position to go over the top, go over the top, make a putt if you are lucky.
Hole 7 - Hole 4 SW. You better get this one. Up the gut with a mid-range. Perfect tunnel shot.
Hole 8 - Hole 8 Hays alt. to alt. Another great 2 shot hole just to get in postion to get a good look at a putt.
Hole 8 - Hole 1 in Norton- Throw a nice controlled shot down the hill (for extra fun, play this hole during the fair week.)
Hole 9 - Hole 6 at the Rock - A perfect uphill shot. One of the coolest holes in Kansas.
Hole 10 - Hole 6 at Herman Hill long to long - This is an awesome hole. Instead of mandos we have the right side of the fairway roped off USDGC style.
Hole 11 - Hole 18 at Oak Park - Not a hard hole at all. 300 foot straight ahead with nothing in the way. Water the entire length of the hole minus 30 feet.
Hole 12 - Hole 6 Hays original. Trouble all the way to the pin then a crazy green to finish things off.
Hole 13 - Hole 17 Colwich- Clear the creek find a way to the basket and make a putt.
Hole 14 - The Cliff hole at the Canyon - Less then 150 feet long straight up the hill. If you don't get on the top you are screwed if you blow past you are screwed.
Hole 15 - Long and Skinny in Ransom- If you have not played it you are missing out. 500 foot flat as a pancake, OB both sides and deep of the hole. Western Kansas wind the source of many Disc Golfers nightmares.
Hole 16- Atchison hole 8- Long downhill flex shot. Have never played it with baskets but when we designed it, it was killer!
Hole 17- Hole 2 Herrington - Long anhyzer off the tee with an OB creek running on the left side of the hole. You better get it turned over or you are going to get a bonus stroke.
Hole 18- The anhyzer hole at Thomas Park - Pretty easy 3, but I know that I can deuce that sucker!
There is my course. Please adapt and change as you see fit.

Greatest Kansas Course
Re: Greatest Kansas Course
Sounds fun. I'm going to impose an additional rule on MY greatest course and make my 18 holes match up to an actual hole with that exact number. I also will not use the same course twice.
#1 - Jones East - throwing over the OB shule.
#2 - Thomas - straight, pretty and picturesque.
#3 - Colwich - over the creek from the red tee.
#4 - Peter Pan - Miss getting it into the mouth on your drive, you're in for some trouble.
#5 - Shawnee South - Up the hill, and dogleg left.
#6 - Anthony - pin down in the little depression near the water. Tempting for lefties to go over.
#7 - Newton - Over the creek and up the hill to the long pin
#8 - Rosedale - Top Course - island pin position.
#9 - Hutch - The big hole. Two of the trees guarding the pin taken out and I still have trouble paring it.
#10 - Atchison - Fun hole that plays along the side of the hill. (Reminds me a lot of Water Works which I can't have on here).
#11- Frontier - quite possibly the prettiest hole in the state.
#12 - Olathe - along the back of the ball fields, with the pin in the woods. Tempting to go over the top and let it drop in.
#13 - Lake Shawnee - short, but go too long or get a roll away your disc may go swimming.
#14 - Pratt - short, wooded, slightly uphill and two ways to get there.
#15 - Crestview - the big hole.
#16 - Herman Hill - Fun in any configuration. Like four different holes in one.
#17 - Jones West - Enough said.
#18 - Oak - The long tee is what its known for, but even the blind look from the short tee is fun.
