Barry Martin and his chainsaw were instrumental in making Water Works Park course what it is today. We lost him at a fairly young age, I think it was in 2003. I miss being on a card with him. We always seemed to find each other on the last card of the masters division together. Whenever I saw his name on my card I'd feel better knowing I'd get another round in with him.

Rick Leake was involved in early Winfield disc-golf, I didn`t know him, but I know that he made baskets that are still in use in winfield to this day. During the Rick Leake Memorial and the fool`s fandango[first of winfield`s 2 annual tourneys] of the 90`s, anytime someone missed a close putt on one of Rick`s baskets, Harv always reminded us that it was because of Rick. He passed away way too early.
