For those who knew, or knew of Charlie 'the blind man' Bauersfeld...he passed away peacefully Sunday evening, June 29th. Here is a link to an ongoing thread (originally started prior to his passing) at the Kansas City Flying Disc Club's Forum which includes info for his services and visitation...as well as links to his Greatness.

Play a hole throwing all your shots with your eyes closed to commemorate the Legend, the man, your DG brutha...Charlie!
We'll surely miss ya, Charlie.

The way it sounded to me when he described what it was like would be more like wrapping layers of cheesecloth around your eyes so all you could see was hazy light and vague shapes if there was a enough light and contrast.
So, wrap your face in cheesecloth and have someone describe where the pin is and wave white towels near the target for an entire round and see how you throw in honor of Charlie. Wow... sounds tough. What a guy. I miss him already.
If you don't make your way over to KCFDC.org at least check out this article from an old DGW:

That is very sad news indeed. He was gracious enough to accept a ride back to the top of waterworks in my truck after the wide open last year.
