Well I got away for a few days. Ron handsacker asked me to come to dallas with him, he has a few short business meetings in the glass world on Fri. and we left Thurs. at 6:00am and played Bear Creek and Vet. Park today. In the morning he'll have the meetings and then we'll play Cedar Hill or ZBOAZ don't know yet. It was good to get away for a while. Not bragging guy but it was nice and warm today. Take care Family.

There are a lot of great courses in the Dallas area. Sounds like you've played two of the better courses already.

Cedar Hill has two courses. The top course is "beaver" I think and I thought it was great. Both courses are short and technical. Coyote is shorter yet and more technical (yet). You are a pretty accurate player, so I bet you would enjoy them a lot. Best thing about that place is how there isn't anything around for miles except tons of baskets and a few discers. Beautiful place.

Z Boaz is challenging. I had a terrible round out there and it was muddy as heck, so maybe I didn't give it the best review. Most people love this course. It did have some dramatic elevation drops on a few holes.

It's clear on the other side of Dallas, but if you get a chance, play Harry Myers DGC in Rockwall, TX. Very creative par 64 course. There are a lot of others worth playing... Crowley is great, but you might have trouble navigating it in a couple places. B.B. Owen was fun, Garland was long bombs, Carrolton has a couple courses. Lake Lewisville is on your way home. You won't be disappointed in that course. If your short on time, the front 9 is way better.

The real fun starts when you go down to the Austin area. Man they have a lot of great courses down that way.
