Bob said that Nintendo had approached the PDGA about making a DG game for the Wii, wonder if that is going anywhere.

Only part of your money Leo. :D

We are still in the paperwork stage on our side of the Wii game but I hear the development is moving forward. I have yet to hear of a target date though.

You probably have to have a PDGA membership to buy the game.

Who cares about the game.

Bob why is did the PDGA decide to charge nonmembers $10 this year. What a BAD move! Take someone like Frizzz. He normally plays 2 or 3 PDGA events a year, paying the $5 fee. He may not play any this year?

What was the idea behind it Bob?

It seems like that moves like this are intended to benefit the PDGA more than the sport of disc golf. Where are their priorities?

The PDGA has been losing my interest ever since they raised the membership fees.

If only the PDGA were non-profit but I guess they have to pay for all those politicians salaries/disc golf outings somehow....

I would care about the game if it is made right. If people who actually play disc golf help make the game realistic it could be really fun.

The $10 non member thing does suck. I am sure it will keep a lot of smaller events from becoming sanctioned. But, I don't think membership fees are to high. With the $5 KDGA affiliation and the $10 for no magazine I only paid $35. If you sign up for pro, with the KDGA affiliation and no magazine you are paying $50.

The magazine is one of the best things about being a member for me, since I don't get to play many tournaments.

You might need to take this to the PDGA forum.
