A good ball golfer could beat the rest of us by 20 or 30 strokes in one round. No chance to make that up in a round of discs, so I think you would have to weight it lower. Getting beat badly doesn't make discers want to play more ball golf. Reversely, I don't think were trying to get ball golfers to play in a disc tournament here. This wouldn't be the disc course for a beginner.

Combining the events sounds cool, but if it is too much trouble, just getting the chance to play a round of ball golf on a killer course with some disc buddies would still be worth it. Could it happen for less than $20 extra per golfer? If you did shotgun starts around 8:30, you could start the disc tournament around 1:30pm.

In America, you don`t have to be smart to be rich.
In a communist country, only the smart are allowed to be rich.
Where does that leave you?

The Elks has approved the use of their land on October 25!!!!! We are working on the details of this event and will have more info soon.

Here is what I know will happen. Entry fees will will include greens and golf carts fees (two players per cart) We will be using the back nine of the Golf course and what I have been told there won't be any problem putting 18 disc golf holes in.

We are working on threw the Country Club for Beer sponsorships, maybe a band for the night party and discounted motel rooms. As it all unfolds I will move the post to the tournament page.

This year will be the experimental year if it goes well it will be a yearly event. If attendance is low it won't happen again. This is a rare occasion to be able to play @ a country club mark your calanders and lets play and have a great time.
