not a crack against Texas. Only things Bushed.
That's a good place to start, but add to that politicians in general and unchecked corporate greed. It's okay, they'll just print up a bunch more money and we'll be fine.

a nice golf area is an awesome idea. it needs to be executed responsibly so it doesn't become a waste.

Anyone with a G.E.D. knows that our government is corrupt even at the highest levels.Trickle down economics does not work. And none of you are rich enough to have any influence on politics, but if it makes your non-educated a$$es feel anybetter to bitch on here feel free to show us how non-educated you really are.Obama can`t fix bush`s damage, but he can lean the supreme court to the left.
When you have to choose between your woman and discgolf, don`t be stupid-choose the discgolf.

funny thing is you have no idea about my financial or education situation. it's a forum. it's where people discuss sh*t. then you had to pipe up with some stupid $hit c0ck-r0cker. probably something to do with your insecurities and wanting to feel like you told somebody something once. now you can tell your friends how cool you are. if you don't like the discussion or what is being discussed, don't participate. it doesn't take a g.e.d. to know about government corruptions. no obama can't fix bush's damages. he can attempt to fix the economic crisis.

i've followed obama since the beginning of his campaigning. watched him speak live in person. election? saw it. inaug? saw it. i follow politics daily and have been invested in the stock market since you were cupping your farts.

this will be my last post on the topic. reply with as much $hit as you want. you'll get no gratification. if you think your better than me or anyone else in the discussion bring that concern to my attention in person. f*ck you and keep your insignificant thoughts to yourself if all you want to do is attempt to cut people down.

Skeen said it well but I might add, you don't know what the level of education is of all of those participating here, but from your remarks it's fairly easy to take a guess at yours (GED perhaps?). I may not have enough money to influence politics, but I do vote and I am an American citizen so my opinion counts, if only to me. No Obama can't fix all of the damage the Bush administration did, but it sure as hell can't hurt to try now can it? What's your alternative suggestion to how things should be handled professor?

It's all funny if you look at it the right way. But you are correct with your Supreme Court comment. It's nice to know it won't swing any further to the right for a while.

Get off your butts and go play some DG gang! It's going to be 70 today! Just because your town didn't have $800k to spend on the course........

I saw all the Bush slammin going on, so I thought I'd share this.....

Subject: A Divorce Agreement

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al:

We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so let's just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way.

Here is a model separation agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy!
Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes.

We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie O'Donnell (You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them).

We'll keep the capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, and Wall Street. You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEO's and rednecks. We'll keep the Bibles and give you CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC and Hollywood.

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values.. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N.. but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We'll keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors.
We'll continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right.

We'll keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem. I'm sure you'll be happy to substitute Imagine, I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World (Obama's campaign suggestion to replace the National Anthem).

We'll practice trickle down economics and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot.

Since it often so offends you, we'll keep our history, our name and our flag.

P.S. Also, please take Barbara Streisand & Jane Fonda with you.

Even though I do play disc golf If I lived in Austin I would vote againts spending bail out money this way. There are more important things than disc golf and other forms of entertainment to spend that money on. Sure it may create a few jobs. But how many of those jobs will last. Once the park and course is built alot of the jobs will be done. Sure some people will have jobs taking care of the park and such but the money could be used to create alot more jobs and generate alot more money in other ways. I agree that a park like this is needed in many towns to raise the level of disc golf and to CLEAN up the sport. But spending bail out money on it during this ecconomy is just down right frivolius and stupid. If any thing take this money an bail out some people who have lost jobs and lost homes. Bail out Those who need help .

Oh sure... be all logical and make sense and stuff. That's no fun.

I really can't help but think they are talking about major work on the entire park, not just a disc golf course for that kind of money. Has anyone seen any more press on this?

The problem with dividing the country based on political beliefs,is that since Democrats are about taking care of people and republicans are about taking care of big business, republicans would soon start shooting everyone[people kill people not guns or atomic weapons]to try to cross into democratic territory to get something to eat.
