Camp Hawk buckets have been pulled for painting. Supposedly they will be back in a week. Apparently an Eagle Scout needed a project.

If we had an official league, several things might have been different.
1) We might have got warning
2) We could've organized a project that actually mattered. Something like fixing the bent, broken baskets and chain rings or tee pad signs or tree removal/planting or poison ivy spraying, or soil conservation.
3) Boy Scouts might play disc golf with us and grow the sport.

Sorry to Shane and anyone else that came out. I hope you found our new Hundy-Nine and still got some golf in.

I just got back to town so does anyone know if there is a sign posted to explain that this is temporary and/or point folks to Centennial Park?

WOW! This was a near miss!

Back on Feb. 20th, 5 of us from Manhattan headed out to shop at Discs Unlimited then play Camp Hawk. Glad all the baskets were in place when we were there! (whew!)

Any word on how long it will be before they are back in place?

(Maybe next time the re-paint them they will do it in the DEAD of winter.)
Come to Manhattan. Play our courses.

Kindy and I rolled out after dark tonight. Buckets were back. The paint is still crap, buckets are still bent, and some of them are in the wrong place. Ah well, welcome to the hawk.

Found a disc on hole 11 @ Camp Hawk today. No name. Describe it and it's yours.

I think I remember one of you Wichita boys finding a putter in the creek @ centennial last Saturday. If it was a yellow challenger with "Kelsey" on it, I'd love to get it back to him.

I tossed it under the basket on 7. It was a yellow challenger with several names on it, some crossed out. I figured it would find an owner if left there.

I know this is probably is a lost cause but here goes. I lost a ESP Buzzz in the tall grass on the north side of #4's basket at Centennial Park yesterday. I spent over an hour in that jungle looking for it to no avail. It has my name and number on it. It one of you kind souls come across it please be kind and return it to me. Thanks for looking
