If there's one thing that Kansas courses do well is incorporate ponds and water hazards - I think every single course I played in Kansas had a hole or multiple holes which played either directly over a pond or near a significant water hazard. Courses in the northeast U.S. either don't have these water hazards, or park managers & course designers are *very* reluctant to allow them, possibly for liability reasons.

I think it's kind of like Jones east with No elevation or par fours.

Correct statement, the only elevation there is #4 throwing back up towards the enterance, #5 throwing(rolling) back down that hill, and maybe #6 throwing from the restrooms back down to gap in cedars...

Oak Park 17 Long.. Gap 80ft in front of pad you have to hit, Dike running the whole lenght of hole, with creek on right side, and river on left. Pole hole positioned on right side of dike half way down. Pond behind polehole that eats every over shot throw.. For sure one of best holes in Kansas!!
