New Course outside Altamont, Kansas

Just wanted to spread the word that there is a new 9 hole course outside little Altamont, KS. It's at Idle Hour Lake (we always just call it Altamont Lake?). You come through Altamont on Hwy 160. When you get to Ness Road turn south. This is either the first road you come to into town if you're heading west or the last if you're traversing east. Anyways...head south for a bit (3.5 miles) and on the west (right) side you'll see a sign for the lakes. The first post that marks the tee box is right by where you turn in. The boxes and signs aren't up yet, but the baskets are numbered. They have also mowed a nice path from the tee to the basket to the next tee and so on. Not a bad little 9 hole course if you happen to be headin' that way. I've only played it today in the 50mph wind, but I liked it. There's an port-a-potty with a flushing toilet(?), camping area and a couple of "lakes" to fish in if you wanted to make a nice little weekend of it. Anywho...just wanted to let everyone know.
