Any word on when or where finals will be?

The finals will be in Salina.... Date to be determined.

There will also be a tournament at lakewood Park on Nov 16th

Why aren't the finals and the 11/16 tournament on the KDGA schedule?

Still don't have many details on either... but they are both on the calendar now.

Austin will be running the last event of the season.

Myself and all present will be running the finals. We will do a banquet in Salina on Saturday. Sarah is working on arrangements.

Nov. 17th in Salina are the rest of the details set?

Were- Thomas Park (Weather permitting)
Time- Check in before 9 Tee off at 9:30 or earlier
Cost- Free to qualified members

Format- Going to go away from the Buddy Match Play Format this year. We will do a skins match of sorts.

More about the format to come. It will be some sort of gang golf (back to the old days) for a certain number of holes. Unlike the old days when the top 13 got in...We will do something with in divisions or within similar divisions.

Won't be able to make it, my daughter is in a play. Bummer. But the play will be good!

Here is how the "skins" match will work.

All groups will be playing a certain number of holes for X$/ hole. We will find a percentage of the people in the "division" and if fewer number then the percent push they will split the skin. If the number or more push then the skin will push to the next hole.

After the final hole...all people will start on the next hole and you must push to stay alive...down the that percentage.


For Example: Open could have as many as players. The magic niumber will be 3 (1/3) of the division. They play the first hole and 4 people get birdies and the rest get worse. The next hole is now worth two skins. This time only 3 people push. So they would split the amount of money on the line 3 ways.... So if we were playing for $15/hole....the would each get $10 or 1/3 of the $30.

****The numbers are all made up...I don't know what each skin will be worth...it will be equal among divisions...the number of player will dictate what the "skin" is worth. If we go with $3/person/hole and there are 5 people in the division each hole will be worth $15...if there are 9 people each hole will be worth $27.

Pros will be playing for cash...Ams will be playing for plastic.
I will be running some killer deals on KDGA stamped discs that will be unbeatable. Get at me if you are interested in them.

I've been waiting for an epic skins match final for 10 years now! Too bad I unlearned how to play well. I'm sure it will be exciting, even for those who won't play.

I just want to say if this event didn't happen on Sunday I would so be there to teach you all AMS how to play mainly Jeremy.boo ya! Looks like fun gonna have to miss out, bummer dude
