What: 2012 Ice Bowl @ Jimbo's Farm to raise money for a local cancer patient Londyn Hibbert. She is 2 years old and is going through Chemo treatments. She recently had to have an eye removed to help rid of the cancer. Let's see what we can do to help out with this family!

When: Saturday January 26th 11am+- tee off

Where: Jimbo's Farm 20+ hole private course!

Here is the address....
15007 S Auburn Road
Burlingame, Kansas 66413

Format: 20+ hole singles that will be flighted after first round based on turnout. Lunch will be available between rounds. Second round will consist of 9+- holes after divisions are flighted from the first round. Prizes will be awarded to the winners of each flight. Entry fee will be $25. Unlimited mulligans may be purchased at the event for $1 each or 6 for $5.

All entrants will recieve an Ice bowl disc (until they run out, then similar disc of choice), chili feed, beer, and 20+ holes of disc golf. Included with each entry will be 5 mulligans. Additional mulligans (unlimited) can be purchased for $1 each. Proceeds from this years event will be donated to a local Cancer patients family, Danelle Hibbert. Her daughter, Londyn, has been going through Chemo treatments and recently had an eye removed as a result of the cancer. Londyn is almost 2 years old. I have several daughters and I can't imagine what I would do if this was my daugher. Let's see what we can do to help!

Sorry for delays, but here is a list of participants and scores from the Ice Bowl. Also, we raised $1,600 this year, which is the record since I have been running it (about 5 years?) by almost 300%. $1,500 went directly to the family of Danielle Hibbert whose daughter has been battling a rare form of eye cancer. $100 will go to our local Meals on Wheels. We also had a record turnout of 65 participants! All in all, great fundraising effort, and many thanks to all participants, volunteers, and donors for making it happen!
