Peabody Oct. 21st
Peabody Oct. 21st
Anyone coming to Newton on the 20th of October should make plans to stay the night and head to Peabody (15 miles east) on Sunday.
Swede and I played there last nite, and it would be a shame to not have it on the schedule.
Details on format, divisions, and cost to come.

I will work out just fine.
We will play 9 holes from the tees using the normal flow of the course. After the 9th hole, you will simply tee off from flags that mark temp. tees and play the course the opposite direction.

What time will this start? What about signup procedures? I am new and don't know anything except I love this game!!

You've got 99% of it figured out then!mberger wrote:What time will this start? What about signup procedures? I am new and don't know anything except I love this game!!
If a start time isn't listed, assume 10 o'clock tee off. That means sign up from about 8:45 to 9:30. This is a fairly informal tourney so showing up Sunday morning with some cash is sufficient. Feel free to check out 1880 Dubs the day before and get acclimated to your new favorite thing to do on a weekend.

Don't forget about Peabody this weekend.
If you haven't had a chance to play it you need to head out there. It is a sweet little track.

Might be smart to bring you lunch with you this weekend.
Don't know if Peabody has any kind of food available on a Sunday?

Re: Peabody Oct. 21st
Thanks to everyone who made it out. We have already decided that next year we are going to expand to more holes and not do the forward/backward round. It worked great in the morning when some people on a card would throw in the 40's and another would throw in the 70's. When we had multiple people on a card throwing in the 70's we had a big ole traffic jam.
18 is possible, but might be cramped.
Special thanks to my fellow Hyzernauts for all the help. Kindy, Swede, and Will. You guys made it so much easier.
