Fore Fathers Fling 3/12/11 Derby, Ks

Welcome all to the 1st annual "Fore!! Fathers Fling" to be played at the Derby Kansas Disc Golf Course on March 12th 2011. This event will be in honor of all the Kansas disc golfers that have paved the way for the Tour that we all love now, and also for those who have done so much work to get the course in Derby put in and improved to its current state.

All divisions will be offered with a minimum of 3 players to open a division. Only exceptions to this will be the juniors and open women's division. However, due to the high cost of the trophies, they will only be awarded in Open, Open Women, Open Masters, Open Grandmasters, Advanced, Masters, Intermediate and Juniors...If there is another high interest division that would like a trophy, please contact me ASAP so that an award can be ordered. These trophies take approx. 3-3 1/2 weeks to turn around from order date.

Registration will begin at 8:30 am
Players Meeting approx. 9:40 am
Start 1st Round approx. 10:00 am

Prices are as follows:
Open- $45
Open Masters/ Women- $40
All Advanced- $35
Intermediate- $30
Juniors- $20

A $3 ace fund will be included into each players entry fee along with the KDGA fee of $2/player

There will be TONS of added cash and prizes to this tournament. The goal is to get 500+++ in added CASH and there will be sick trophies for 1st place in all major divisions.( hint: If you played the KS Doubles back in the day you have a good idea what these trophies will look like) We are also currently in the talks with a spot in Derby to host a players party that night, and also a potential lunch donor. Any news on this will be updated ASAP.

Dynamic DIscs Pimp and Proprietor Jermey Rusco will be in Texas the weekend of the FFF and will unfortunatley not make it, but has generously contributed a couple hundred bux worth of sweet DD stuff which will be given away as ctp and ring of fire prizes! first 40 people paid and signed up will be on the list to get a nice t-shirt and micro-fiber towel courtesy of the Handeye Corporation. The remaining packs will be given away saturday morning first come-first served. Only 40 packs, so pre-pay with Ron, Mike Schoenhofer, Mike Speer, or Myself to get your pack spoken for. Many other games, prizes, sponsors to be announced!

Gonna miss out Smitty!! Wish you could be there. Crispin and I have learned much from you on how to run a fun and successful tournament.. Make sure to send the Valley Boys our way, we may even enact the "2 on the 1st" rule if enough Winfieldiens show.
The event poster will be posted by the end of the weekend. Be sure that you are one of the first 40 paid entries to get a sweet Handeye Corp. shirt and towel..

This Winfielder plans on coming to this event. I haven't played there in a couple years and cant even recognize it when I drive by, somebody has put in tons of hours to shape the place up, who says you cant polish a turd. Cant wait till March.

Trophies ordered today!!! The major divisions (open, masters, grandmasters, womens, adv) will be playing for SWEEET unique trophies. Pics of these will be posted as soon as they come in... Not worry, the remaining division's trophies will be WELL worth it too. Crispin will be designing these and pics of those will be up as soon as they are completed...Get those registartions in early to get your Players Packs!!!
