Re: Dynamic Discs Melvern Lake Mayhem PDGA B-Tier JULY 17th
Do you have to pay the $4 parking fee if you have a KS park parking permit?
Re: Dynamic Discs Melvern Lake Mayhem PDGA B-Tier JULY 17th
As long as you have the state park parking permit you don't have to pay the $4 fee.

Re: Dynamic Discs Melvern Lake Mayhem PDGA B-Tier JULY 17th
Great course. The DD staff did a nice job on short notice, and the park staff were Awesome! Lunch was great, and the park staff were Awesome! Giant tee pads installed very recently (with dirtwork). The back 9 is only a week? old! Defined rough was very rough, but fair. This will be a Spring/ Fall course because the park sells the hay from the meadows, and probably won't want to mow them before the summer hay season. Did I already say the park staff were awesome?!!
One of the warmest tourneys I think I've played....The park staff had a mobile cart with water or Gatorade and lots of waterjugs as well. It really made a difference in how I felt after I finished! This venue could become one of Kansas' finest with very little assistance from players like us.
The competition was pretty good as well....George Smith and I both averaged 1027 rated rounds to finish tied in second place behind Eric! Saw some pretty darn nice shootin!

Pretty crazy what Eric shot that first round, then to think that he bogeyed what were the two shortest holes on the course. O ne of which is a completely-open-nothing-in-the-way 250' hole (Maybe a tad shorter).

Re: Dynamic Discs Melvern Lake Mayhem PDGA B-Tier JULY 17th
This was definetely one of the hottest tourneys I've ever played. Having abundant water and lunch on-site was great. The course with all the great views of the lake is one of the most picturesque places I've played. I predict this course will be the location of some really great events in the years to come.
Thanks to the Friends of the Park and DD for a fun day.
