Hopkins is working on it! There is an awesome shot that requires about a 400 foot drive to clear the water but you are throwing down hill! It is a must go for if you can throw in that range. If not there is a lay up area short of the water.

Awesome! I've been to Melvern a few times and have always thought a course would be great there.

For those not in the know, Melvern is one of five USACE built lakes (Perry, Clinton, Pomona, Melvern, John Redmond) that run in sort of a chain parallel to US-75 from northeast of Topeka down to southeast of Emporia. With this course, and the one going in at Perry, we'll now have at least one disc golf course at four of them. Add in Tuttle Creek and that's five out of six.

Now, if we could just get a course built at Kanapolis or Wilson.

Crispin Carrasco just got the flyer worked up for the event! This is a KDGA event!

Note, there is a casual division for all of those who want to play in the tournament but do not want to pay the $10 non-PDGA fee. This is more for local parks and rec workers than anything but I did want to note this to everyone.

We will have a gas grill out at the DD RV for the weekend so feel free to bring some grillin' food and everyone is welcome to use.

Keep in mind that Brandon Hopkins and DD are sponsoring the lunch that is going to be provided on Saturday so you will not need to bring lunch.

Sorry Tbone, you're out, the wife is in. I'm sure we can carpool to another tournament sometime soon though. Thanks anyway.
