Are you planning on playing the regular course? Some of the made up holes by the river were a lot of fun.

Are y'all still playing overhand shots out of the sandtraps? That was the coolest idea ever...the PDGA should look into situational instances like this, IMHO.

I played this event in '02...picked up a brand new MINT '01 CE Roc for $35 with my funny-money winnings... 8) :D

Brian Shields has it planned out. I do believe that some of the holes used last year are part of the plan. On of the issues are when mowing out there the city has hit a few or more of the baskets and bent them up.

I was out there yesterday. 4 is leaning a bit, but its playable. 8 is leaning to where its going to be a problem. Someone from the city was there last week replacing some of the hole numbers on the nickels which had worn off.

Those of you who have been to Carey in the past are going to notice there are a LOT of trees missing which were taken out due to pine blight. The ice storm back in December did some damage to the hardwood trees and there are sadly some trees in strategic spots with a pink X on them that are likely going to get the ax.

The evergreens which used to line Hole 5 are gone so its a wide open shot now. Also one of the evergreens that guarded the pin on 9 was taken out which has made that considerably easier.

Hope to see some of you Saturday.

Mace if Loyd doesn't show up, send his KDGA disc with someone from Wichita.

Better yet, someone from Wichita get the KDGA disc from Mace.

I will try to send your chair with someone from here.

Whoever is going, grab Mike Junod's bag tag & shirt as well as Lloyd's disc. I'll try to mention this at league tomorrow.

I have bottled water and gatorade left over from the rock. I will have it on ice and it will be selling for .50 a bottle all day saturday. Please help me get rid of it.
