Must not be to tough of a course, 41? I wonder if the 43 was on the same course?

As far as Liz goes? I don't know of any tourney that has ever been won after 1 round. I do know of a lot that have been lost after 1 round. I think she is in pretty good position.

Come on Rusco! Flymart tonight, that will be a load off of his mind.

Here are the course assignments:

Looks like Rusco drew the toughest course first (and at 8 in the morning no less). Group D got it later. He'll make a comeback tomorrow.

There are several other Kansans in the field this week as well. Ryan Orton from Topeka is down there with William Lister from Topeka (now resides in San Diego). They are both playing Advanced Men but are in different pools as Rusco... I think they are in Pool D. Didn't look like any of them played extremely well in the first round, but hope they all shoot better.

So what is the deal with the round ratings? Obviously Rusco didn't shoot an 818.

Do they resort all the scores to the correct courses after the tourney? Being worlds, I would expect them to. Many tourney's don't do this. While the average rating for the tournament will remain the same, it does make a difference when it comes to determining which rounds stay in the rating and which get thrown out.

They did this last year too. To keep am status you cannot accept cash of any kind including "side bets"

Yes they will do that, and may have started it already.

Does anybody know what the cutoff is to make it to the semis?

Probably somewhere around 80 is my guess.

The way I see it is, if Rusco can still pull into the top 50 with 2 ~980 rated rounds.

Not sure if its always this way, but when I played worlds, the top 1/2 of each division went on the the semifinals.
