After last year gust of 20 will seem nice.
20 or less is just called a slight breeze in Kansas.

Won't be that windy, but the Rock does play tougher with a North wind.

I'm wondering how much tougher late June vs. April vegetation will be. Hole 12 & 16 & 17 could be interesting?

I took both of y'alls advice and seems like most of the soreness might be gone in the morning after I get some weight on it.

If not I guess I'll be playing left handed in Advanced.
I fear not the man who has practiced 10,000 kicks once, but I fear the man who has practiced one kick 10,000 times.

The tall grass is ROUGH! I think Mace is going to change the course up a little to help out.

Hole 12 is still a great hole. I just wish the stupid cement post were not next to the tee.

Hole 16 is a luck shot. The good new is, it may be one of the fixes to get rid of the short grass. Mace may break it into 2 shorter and better holes.

Hole 17 is still the same shot.

Great job on running the tourney Mace! Congrats to Downtown Randy Brown on the big win. I had a great time with everyone that I got the chance to play with this weekend and I think this was the best Rock yet!

Way to make the best out of a bad situation. Changing to course at the last minute was the best move of the weekend. The original course would of added atleast 45 minutes to each round and probably 100 more lost disc penaltys.

One thing I would suggest would be move the tee with the cement next to it. I know of atleast 2 people who smashed their hands on the cement. I know it is a sweet hole, but it is dangerous.

Last if anyone at the event was going to beat me, I am glad it was Randy Brown. The dude is great to watch. Even when he ends up in the crap or misses a short putt (that doesn't happen very often), the dude is just steady and cool. I need to take a few lessons in the don't lose your cool department.

P.S.

Mace-

Cameron says can you please use butt instead of ass from now on?

Brandon, I owe you and Renee a huge apology. When Chris met us at the bar he said Renee was supposed to get a trophy after the t-shirt deal, and I'd just assumed the t-shirt was like the trophy/announcement and I made her check out early with me. I stole both of your guys' thunder and I'm really sorry. Also thanks for making a cool speech for her, it really was a big deal for her to be playing her first tourney at the Rock. Talk about a trial by f'ing fire.
So now I'm sunburned and sore, but I had the best time. I can't believe how well organized that whole tournament was. Great job, buddy, can't wait for next year.

ps, everybody- if you ever see a dude with two toddlers carrying 80 lbs worth of metal chairs, stand up and help a brotha out.
