No, I am pretty sure Wichita has more then 30 players. You guys easily have 5 teams.

To help with the planning, Kindy really could use a head count. With shirts, custom discs, and BBQ involved. It would sure suck if he ordered enough for 15 teams, and only 8 showed up. That would be 35 people worth of stuff that he would be stuck with. Other side of the coin 20 teams show up. Now he has to scramble around after the event to round up enough stuff for 25 more people.

If you are playing, get your info to Kindy.

Winfield will have A team there.

I am still looking for a team. If there is anyone who needs an Advanced Player. I am your guy.

Also, if there are people out there that are not on a team let me know so we can put one together.

I may be interested in coming from Pittsburg. But there isn't a chance in hell of me finding players in my neck of the woods that would be willing to play. So if you or anyone else is interested in putting a mixed bag of players together then let me know. I can play intermediate or masters, whichever is needed. We can be called team MUTT! Lol

Sounds like a great time. Wish it were only a one day event. Its hard to convince people to drive to Newton two days in a row for trophys only. When is there going to be a regular torney there? I love that course.

Translates to "We are shaking in our boots and know that we fail in comparison to the golfers in the other parts of the state."

Just kidding.

I think Salina could field a team that would easily beat somebody. :D

With Randy Brown and Rod Cooley we would allready have two divisions no problem.

Don't know about no problem, but you would have a good chance. When you are playing matchplay over 9 holes, nothing is a given.

You would bank on Rod Cooley? He beat a 13 year old kid by 3 strokes on his home course and Twitch took a 7 on hole 4. Rod would probably have a chance, since Twitch will not be playing intermediate at teams.

Guess we may never know.

I got a couch for R/B anytime he wants to come to Newton. All I ask is that he writes a poem on my commode.

I would bank on Rod having 13 beers in him when he beat that 13 year old by 3 strokes.

Oh Jes! Thingsa movings anda shakings @ the Hawk. Last week Sweets and I did some mowing/clean-up/tree watering. Juice is on a mission to re-install all the tee-pad markers before the tourney. The ranger(s) are spending the day out there today clearing some (probably not all) the shrubs from around the water and doing some limb removal. And I'm gonna spray some ivy this aft. We fixin to have a ho-down, yo! So git yer teams posted and let's shake our boogie!

Sounds like the place is going to be ready to go.

Are we playing 3 9's
2 9's

Also any power or water at the course area? Winfield will be setting up camp in style and both would be valuable.

I am sure you have it covered, but different color flags would sure make it easy to tell what course you were playing.

Also, I can probably roll that way Friday if you need any help.
