Thanks Ron for giving us such a fine tourney to play. Nice job whuppin up on all the young slingers today. Those we're some interesting holes out there. A lot of importance on accurate windy upshots. Of course, if you have a canon and judge the wind perfectly (I saw quite a bit of this), you might not need to play the windy upshot. You're right, the course would play totally different with a normal south wind.

Let the crazy windy disc stories begin. I perfected my shuffle putt today. Ask Shan Mann, it was on that second round! 15 strokes werse than the ferst.

Oh yeah, thanks for taking the effort to post those scores. Smitty, would it be possible for you to put the members in red just so I don't mess anyone up?

I do see one thing that will be a little unfair. Some of the people in the Advanced and Open division who didn't play so hot, may have a higher score then some of the Ams who played well. I don't know if that is true for any KDGAers (Robin?). If so, they are being penalized for playing the harder longer course.

I had a great time yesterday in PONCA! well, except for the wind. It was a great course, great food and great people. We will definatley bring more people from OKC next year. My only complaint would be the orginization factor. But overall a great experience.

We would like to invite you all to Dolese Park for the Jeremy Martin Memorial Tournament in October (date to be determined). Our tourny is a lot ike yours, free food, 2 great rounds on a great course. More details too come.

I don't know about anything that was unfair. I would have taken like DFL in am2. The lower divisions actually got to play from shorter tees. I know this isn't exactly fair in terms of the non-divisional points system we use, but I don't think it will be a problem. We have a junior division this year, so you might expect that some tourneys will use some shorter tees and the juniors might earn a few extra points that they wouldn't have otherwise. If anything this will just be encouraging to the juniors and keep other players trying harder.

Lost....

I got home and noticed that my black/red stamp X Challenger was gone. Did anyone see it? I really didn't want to lose that one. Ron was right, that thing was one of the only putters that can be used for headwind upshots. And the black/red was sweet; I don't think I'll find another. I'm guessing I might have set it on someone's truck while buying some discs from Samson?? I had it when we were doing the CTP. Maybe I set it over by the dock and didn't pick it up?? Please let me know if anyone finds it.
